ScreenBeam Conference - MacOS - Camera video feed shows green screen

This article applies to ScreenBeam 1100 Plus product.

The ScreenBeam 1100 Plus Conference feature enables Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) users to join wireless conferences and use their preferred UC client for video meetings.

Issue: On macOS, the UC client app (for example, Teams or Zoom) displays a green screen instead of the camera video feed.

Cause: The ScreenBeam Conference installation or upgrade did not correctly install the required drivers.

Resolution:

1. Close the ScreenBeam Conference app and any open meeting applications (Teams, Zoom, etc.) on the Mac.
2. Run the ScreenBeam Conference uninstall utility (Applications > SB Conference > “SB Conference Uninstaller”).
3. Download the latest app from https://www.screenbeam.com/getconference
4. Reinstall the latest version of the ScreenBeam Conference software.
5. Restart the Mac to complete the process.
