How to setup 1100 Plus for Wired & Wireless Conferencing

This article applies to ScreenBeam 1100 Plus with Conference and ScreenBeam USB Pro Switch products.

This configuration enables both wired and wireless Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) capabilities.

Available meeting options include:

  • Wireless presentation and video conferencing with ScreenBeam Conference
  •  Wired presentation and video conferencing using HDMI and USB connections

Required Hardware

  • ScreenBeam 1100 Plus (version 11.1.17.x or newer)
  • ScreenBeam USB Pro Switch
  • All-in-one USB video bar

Wiring Connection Steps

On the USB Switch

  1. Connect the USB cable from the video bar to the USB Switch Device port
    1. Make sure the video bar is connected to its own power supply
  2. Connect the USB Switch Host Input 1 port to the 1100 Plus using the USB cable provided with the USB Switch
  3. Connect the second provided USB Cable to the USB Switch Host Input 2
    1. Note: This USB cable is designated for the BYOD computer

On the 1100 Plus

  1. Connect the HDMI cable from the display to the 1100 Plus HDMI Out port
  2. Connect another HDMI cable to the 1100 Plus HDMI In port
