Why ScreenBeam 1100P HDMI output is not 4K?

This article is applicable to the ScreenBeam 1100P product.

ScreenBeam 1100 Plus supports up to 4K output resolution, enabling an ultra-sharp, detailed display experience ideally suited for modern meeting and learning environments. This high-resolution output fully showcases presentations, videos, and other digital content on compatible 4K displays, enriching collaboration and communication in hybrid spaces.

When Wireless Conferencing (BYOM) mode is enabled, output resolution is limited to 1080p. This limitation ensures seamless compatibility and optimal performance when integrating with unified communications platforms and video conferencing tools, helping to maintain consistent audiovisual quality across a wide range of conferencing scenarios.

If wireless conferencing is not required for your deployment and you want to maximize display resolution, you can restore 4K output by disabling Wireless Conferencing mode. This adjustment can be made via either the CMS Enterprise platform or the Local Management Interface (LMI). Choosing the appropriate output mode ensures that your organization takes full advantage of the ScreenBeam 1100 Plus advanced visual capabilities while matching your specific deployment needs.

Note: At this time, only Windows devices using Miracast support wireless mirroring at 4K resolution. For most setups, 4K projection is achieved by selecting extended desktop mode. If the laptop’s built-in display supports a native 4K resolution, then 4K duplication (mirroring) is also supported.
