How to grab the log from ScreenBeam Conference app
This article applies to ScreenBeam 1100 Plus and Conference app.
The SB Conf App log is required for troubleshooting the app run-time error.
- Do this for Admin login
- and also for the standard user login
On the user system, access C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ScreenBeam Conference\Logs
For example,
C:\Users\User01\AppData\Local\ScreenBeam Conference\Logs
You will need to enable the viewing of "hidden items" in File Explorer:
- SB Conf Service log:
- Exit the App if it is open.
- Turn ON logging by going to: C:\Program Files\ScreenBeam\Conference\service\NLog.config and change: globalThreshold="Off" to globalThreshold="On"
NOTE: The text editor requires Administrator privilege to edit this file.
- From the Task Mgr, go to the Services tab and restart the "ScreenBeam Conference" service.
- Check for the service login:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\ScreenBeam Conference Service\
