Dell XPS 13,15 + Killer Wireless card 1535 - Cannot discover ScreenBeam

This article applies to the following ScreenBeam products:

Customers have reported not being able to discover the ScreenBeam for wireless display when utilizing Dell XPS 13 and 15 + Killer Wireless card with driver version 12.0.0.825 dated 1/27/2019.

This issue can be resolved by updating the driver for the wireless card, some customers were also able to resolve the issue by setting the ScreenBeam to lower 5GHz channels 36-161.

The driver version currently on the PC was 12.0.0.825, the latest driver versions available on Killer's website (link) and Dell's website (link) resolve this issue.

The release notes for this driver version (12.0.0.832) include a specific update to Miracast connectivity with devices operating on channel 165 (the default channel for the ScreenBeam).
