Does ScreenBeam support Power over Ethernet (PoE)?

This article applies to the following ScreenBeam products: ScreenBeam 1xxx-Series, 960 and 750.

Current ScreenBeam models do not support PoE. For installments where only PoE is available, a PoE Splitter can be used to deliver power and network to the ScreenBeam receiver.

PoE Splitter specifications must meet the following requirements

• PoE+ PD Device (PoE+ Splitter)
• Supports IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+ Standard
• Supports Gigabit Ethernet up to 100meters
• Power output
  • 12V DC up to 25.5W with a 5.5 mm power plug for ScreenBeam model 1100 Plus/1100/1000
  • 5V DC up to 10W with a 3.8 mm power plug for ScreenBeam model 960/750

Recommended PoE+ Splitter

• D-Link DEP-301GS

Limitation

• The ScreenBeam 1000, 1100, and 1100 Plus model cannot support 3 fully loaded USB ports.
