How Do I Access The Local Management Interface (LMI)?
Using Local Management on ScreenBeam
The Local Management Interface (LMI) can configure and update a single ScreenBeam.� The different procedures for accessing the LMI are described below.
Method 1� works with any source device (Windows, Apple, Google) and is applicable to the ScreenBeam 1100 Plus, 1100, and 1000.

Method 2 works with any source device�(Windows, Apple, Google) and is applicable to the ScreenBeam 1100 Plus, 1100, 1000, and 960.

Method 3 requires a Windows 10 source device with Miracast and is applicable to the ScreenBeam 1100 Plus, 1100, 1000, 960, and 750.

Method 1: ScreenBeam Local Wi-Fi
1. The Ready to Connect screen should be visible on the display connected to the ScreenBeam. Locate the ScreenBeam's Wi-Fi name (default is AP-xxxxxx) and password (default is screenbeam) in the lower-left corner of the display.

2.�Use your device (Windows PC, Mac, etc) to connect to the ScreenBeam's Wi-Fi using the credentials found on the Ready to Connect screen.
3. Locate the ScreenBeam's management IP address, shown on the bottom of the Ready to Connect screen.

If the receiver is not connected to an existing wireless network or LAN, its IP address is 192.168.26.1.

If the receiver is connected to a network, the IP address can be identified on the Ready to Connect screen.

4. Enter this address into the web browser of a PC or Apple device.� The browser may give an error stating ?The connection or site is not secure or private.? Manually accept the connection as follows:

click�Advanced, then click�Proceed.

click�Details, then�go to the webpage (not recommended).

then click on�Add Exception

then click�Confirm Security Exception.

5. When the ScreenBeam management page appears, enter the username Administrator and password screenbeam (both case-sensitive).
Note: If screenbeam does not work as a password, try Actiontec

Method 2: Network Connection via DHCP
1.�Using a shielded RJ-45-terminated Cat5e or better Ethernet cable, connect the ScreenBeam Ethernet port to a DHCP-enabled network.
2.�The Ready to Connect screen on the display will show the assigned IP address of the ScreenBeam. Enter this address into the web browser of a PC or Apple device on the same network as the ScreenBeam.
3.�Enter this address into the web browser of a PC or Apple device.� The browser may give an error stating ?The connection or site is not secure or private.? Manually accept the connection as follows:

Note: This method can also be used to connect to the IP address assigned to the Wireless interface of the ScreenBeam once the receiver is connected to a wireless network.

Method 3: Wireless P2P Direct Connection
1. Locate the receiver name in the upper left corner of the Ready to Connect screen.
2. On a Windows 10 device, simultaneously press the Windows Key + K to open the Connect menu. Select the receiver from the list of available devices.

If prompted, enter the PIN shown on the display.

If no PIN is shown on the display, but the PC still prompts for a PIN, try the default PIN 12345670

Then click Connect

3. Once connected to the ScreenBeam, open a web browser and type 192.168.16.1 into the address bar, then press Enter.�The browser may give an error stating ?The connection or site is not secure or private.? Manually accept the connection as follows:
