What are the differences between CMS Enterprise vs CMS Classic?
This article applies to the following ScreenBeam products: CMS Enterprise & CMS Classic
While CMS and CMS Enterprise both manage ScreenBeam receivers, CMS Enterprise differs from CMS in the following respects:
- Web-based access rather than single-user application-based access requiring OS login
- Multiple users able to access CMS at the same time
- Multiple user roles, from monitoring-only to device administration and full CMS Enterprise administration
- Dashboard quick view for rapid monitoring of device status
- Device grouping by site with up to three levels of nesting
- Task scheduling for individual receivers or groups by new site groupings
- Ability to manage future feature enhancements through license management
- ScreenBeam 960 support
- No support for ScreenBeam 750
Note: SB960 support is not included by default in CMS Enterprise. An additional fee is required for 960 support.
