ScreenBeam 1xxx-Series Products Safety Guidelines and Warnings

 

This article applies to ScreenBeam 1xxx-Series products.

Adhere to these guidelines for safe operation and optimal performance of ScreenBeam 1100 Plus, FLEX, 1000EDU Gen 2, or 1000EDU receivers.

Use only a Listed Direct Plug-In Power Unit marked Class 2, a Listed Power Adapter, or a DC power source marked L.P.S. (Limited Power Source), model #CDS036-W120U, rated at 12Vdc and 3A minimum.

This product is intended for indoor use only and should be operated within a temperature range of 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F). Avoid spilling food or liquids on the device. Do not install, mount, or place the product or its cables near wet surfaces. Keep the device away from heat sources or ventilation outlets, such as those found on projectors, and do not obstruct its cooling vents.

If any of the following issues occur, promptly unplug the device from the power outlet and replace the affected part or contact your dealer:

  • The device is exposed to water.
  • The power adapter, cable, or connector shows signs of damage.
  • The device emits a strong or unusual odor.
